If you've ever thought a boy has broken your heart, try finding out you may not be able to have children. Just the doctor's carelessness as he once again diagnoses "endometriosis" to another patient. Of course, many women have this and it is cureable. But when nothing works that usually would, my mind starts to wander. I'm told to just be careful, because "this medication could make you really fertile, or just not work at all." Well no shit, why else would you give it to me? Do you expect me to be thinking "YES! I may not be able to give life, but I'll just have as much sex as I want!" It disgusts me to think that the reason he said that was because some other girl was thinking it.
The Doc' has never felt like this, he doesn't know how much you adore kids, but it isn't his fault. I hate blaming any of my problems on something or someone, but for once I yearned for something scream at. Ever since, I've never looked at any child the same. Now, I always look at them with their mother; she's truly blessed.
This also brings forth the question: What do men feel about this?
I've never wanted to get married. I'd always rather be independent. For some reason, the day before I found out I may not have kids, this changes? Well sister, here's your options.
Man #1: She's young, she can't have kids...what an advantage! I don't care about the fact that this tears at her every time she sees an infant. (This guy has already happened)
Man #2: I'm a family guy. My parents want me to have kids. She might not be able to reproduce...No Thanks. (well mr.mormon, no thank YOU)
Man #3: Maybe we'll have kids, maybe not. I'll stick with her through thick and thin. We still use protection... Adopting would be an option if all else fails. (This one just doesn't fuckin exist)
So there. This one is just going to have to stay independent. A natural born mother, like a bear...well this lone polar bear is just going to have to hold her head high as she hopes for the best, walking torward the sun to meet it. Hoping that her damn endometrifuckis goes away.
